The new director of the Marina Neuvo Vallarta has just announced that the marina will be torn down and rebuilt. Part of the reason for the rebuild is that the marina would like to expand. Demand for slip space is at an all-time high and the marina can’t accommodate it with the existing facility. The new, expanded marina will feature all new pilings and docks, a floating fuel dock, and 230 new slips, some of which will be ready by Autumn. Ninety slips will be designed for yachts that are sixty feet or longer. Twenty-five slips will be reserved for vessels up to 56 feet. Twenty-four slips are reserved for yachts up to 46 feet. Thirty-nine slips will be available for 41-foot vessels and less than sixty-five slips will be reserved for vessels less than 30 feet in length.
