A Puerto Vallarta environmental group known as the Grupo Ecológico de Puerto Vallarta, A.C. has planted 150 trees along the Rio Pitillal, one of three rivers that flow through Puerto Vallarta. You’ll find many grassroots efforts to preserve and protect the Puerto Vallarta environment
, including those that plant trees, clean the beaches, recycle, and protect the marine life here. Community members are active in preserving the Puerto Vallarta environment.
