For local travel, the governments of Jalisco – Puerto Vallarta’s home state, and Nayarit – where San Pancho is located – are considering the joint development of a water taxi service around Banderas Bay. This would permit you to travel into Puerto Vallarta quickly and cost-effectively, without the need for a private vehicle.

Puerto Vallarta also has a very cost-effective and efficient system of mass transportation. (Just another advantage of building in Mexico!) Bus routes serve large portions of the Puerto Vallarta metropolitan area and travel as far as San Pancho.
